How does Central Air Conditioning Work?

In a split system air conditioning system, the outdoor unit cools air and sends it to the indoor unit (the furnace) to be circulated through your home.

The indoor and outdoor units are designed to work together and when properly matched  with a furnace or air handler, the result is maximum efficiency and extended system life.

A central air conditioner uses the furnace and ductwork to provide cooling through the entire ducted house.

The split system has an evaporator in the ductwork and a condenser outside the home.
Air  Conditioner efficiency is rated by a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER).   A higher SEER rating  signifies higher energy efficiency.

Have peace of mind knowing that your new York equipment uses environmentally friendly R410a refrigerant and comes with a 10 year parts warranty.
