Humidifiers

Install a humidifier in your home to eliminate dry air that causes static electricity, sore throats or irritated skin.   It will also help to expand the life of your wood furniture and floors and help windows and doors to
maintain their proper fit.

York offers various types of humidifiers for your home as follows:

BYPASS HUMIDIFIER

The most cost effecive way to humidify your home.  A bypass humidier has water that trickles through a pad and drains the unevaporated water.  This prevents stagnant water from sitting in the humidifier pan that may cause mold and corrosion.

POWER HUMIDIFIER

Power humidifiers operate similar to the bypass but with an added motor to keep the airflow at a higher rate.  This higher rate absorbs additional moisture and distributates it throughout the home.

STEAM HUMIDIFIER

Steam humidifiers provide the highest level of moisture.  With higher integrated controls, they provide on demand humidification.  They can control humidity in much larger areas.
