Reset/Reboot your furnace

If you're having issues with your gas/propane furnace, before calling us for help, try to reset the furnace. 
​Similar to a reboot of a computer it can help to clear issues or show fault codes to help diagnose further issues.

Will your fireplace run when the power is out?
Yes - it will with the battery pack inside the unit.
Click to watch this video for instructions to install batteries to allow your fireplace to function without power.  Don't forget to remove the batteries so that they will still be good for the next time you use it and won't corrode the battery pack.
Note:  The fan requires electricity to run and circulate the air, therefore the battery pack won't run this feature.
